“Make Your Own” Beaded Rope Necklace or Wristlet

The Coeur d’Alene people value adornment highly. To this day we wear beautifully crafted necklaces, chokers, earrings, and bracelets. This workshop focuses on ornamentation worn by Coeur d’Alene Tribal people.
The 1/4 inch bead wrapped rope necklace is approximately 23 inches in length and will be finished with an adjustable satin ribbon tie. The 3/16 inch bead wrapped rope bracelet is approximately 6.5 inches in length and will have an adjustable buckskin tie.
This is a 5 hour hands-on workshop that is guided by Coeur d’Alene Tribal member artist Bobbie White. You will “make your own” bead wrapped rope necklace or wristlet. Bobbie will instruct you through this authentic Coeur d’Alene Tribal traditional art workshop. All materials are provided. You will receive $10 EPC and a $10 Food Voucher.
