Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort Hotel Wins “Inspiring Workplace” Award

Annual Honor from the Greater Spokane Valley Chamber Bolsters Resort’s Reputation as a Business Leader

(Worley, Idaho; May 1, 2024) – Continuing a streak of impressive recognition as a respected business leader, Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort Hotel won the Greater Spokane Valley Chamber “Inspiring Workplace Award’ in the Large Business category at a ceremony on March 27 at the CenterPlace Regional Event Center.

The award is annually bestowed upon an area business that has “demonstrated an excellent place to work and the individual roles within, shining a spotlight on their inspirational leaders who strive to deliver a better experience for their colleagues.” Accepted by Community Outreach Specialist JR Gustin, the honor was one of six given during the ceremony, which recognizes organizations that excel in business innovation, create inspiring workplaces, and lead through community stewardship.

“We are thrilled to receive such esteem from an important local business authority,” said Laura Penney, CEO, Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort Hotel. “For 31 years we have operated on the premise that every employee, guest, and community partner is part of our family. As one of the area’s largest employers, we strive daily to strengthen that ethic.

“This honor reaffirms our commitment to our staff, immediate neighbors and the larger hospitality and gaming industries. We take our place in the market seriously and do our jobs with great joy and welcoming spirit.”
