GRIZZLY BEAR PROTECTED SPECIES PRESENTATION
Performed by Laura Grizzlypaws, this presentation explains the significance of the Grizzly bear, the creation story, and a demonstration of the bear dance. Laura is deeply rooted in her St’át’imc heritage. As a versatile artist, educator, language advocate, and author, she passionately preserves and shares St’át’imc traditions. Her deep understanding of education and cultural values allows her to vividly express the richness of the St’át’imc heritage, bringing to life their songs, oral traditions, storytelling, dances, and social interactions.
