Coeur d’Alene Casino’s Pay It Forward Initiative Returns

WORLEY, Idaho (April 27, 2021)­—Coeur d’Alene Casino is Paying it Forward in May with the return of their giving initiative. In partnership with Stephens Media Group, Coeur d’Alene Casino will be giving away $31,000 as part of the casino’s charity initiative, Coeur Connections.

“Pay it Forward was such a bright spot for us last year that we knew we had to bring it back,” said Yvette Matt, Director of Marketing at Coeur d’Alene Casino. “Giving is a part of our culture and a major component of our Coeur Values at Coeur d’Alene Casino and Coeur Connections is a way for us to find new ways to give back to a community we are proud to be a part of.”

Coeur d’Alene Casino launched Coeur Connections with the rollout of the first Pay it Forward as a way to highlight the casino’s existing giving program while expanding support of nonprofits, schools, organizations and deserving individuals.

Pay it Forward will begin May 1. There are four chances to grab a piece of the $31,000:

  1. Listen to 7 The Mountain, 103.9 Bob FM, 94.1 The Bear or KEY FM 101 on weekdays for a chance at $100 gift cards to local Spokane and Coeur d’Alene restaurants. A total of $10,000 in gift cards will be given.
  2. Keep an eye out for representatives at local grocery stores and shopping areas who will be “paying it forward” by randomly selecting people to cover their recent purchase. About $6,000 in purchases will be covered.
  3. Fill up for a chance to have your fuel cost covered. Two Fridays in May will be “Free Gas Friday.” Up to $50 in gas will be covered per vehicle. A total of $5,000 in fuel will be covered.
  4. Apply online by answering “why I need this Pay it Forward” throughout the month of May for a chance to win. Forty winners will be selected to receive a $250 cash gift card. A total of $10,000 will be awarded.
